This page is to support this beautiful whānau with the challenging road ahead with both their twin boys, in Wellington NICU.
Hawke's Bay
On the 16th April 2022! 9weeks early my sweet nephews were born.
Malachi Jeremiah Ngametua 1.700kg
Ezekiel Joshua Ngametua 1.700kg
Both boys sadly needed to go into the SCBU in Hawkes Bay Hospital immediately, whānau/family was so excited they had arrived. As covid rules were in place for their safety no one was able to meet them yet including their siblings and Nannie’s.
On Mothers Day 3weeks after they were born, they deteriorated and needed to be immediately flown to Wellington NCIU for life saving surgery’s. Both boys are in serious condition.
Due to this horrifying tragedy, Sarah and Joshua are remaining in Wellington alongside their boys and Josh is unable to work. In the near future he will have to travel to and from Wellington as much as he can to support Sarah & his boys and also their 2girls (4 &7) who remain in Hawkes Bay. As the boys are in NCIU both parents can’t stay at hospital, they are having to pay for hotels, food, petrol. As well as support for the girls at home.
I ask please support in any way possible. We are praying and hoping our little wee boys the best recovery.
Lots of love us x
This is my first cousin’s twin boys.
Supporting, both parents in travel, food, accommodation as the boys will be in Wellington for 8weeks. Also to help support their 2 girls, aged 4 & 7, who will remain home in Hawkes Bay with carers.
