Round the Bays Half Marathon Soi Dog Foundation fundraiser

On Sunday 21st February 2021 we will be taking part in the Round the Bays half marathon in Wellington, New Zealand to raise money for the Soi Dog Foundation. Due to a health condition Jo is unable to run so we will be walking the 21.1km.

The charity is very close to our hearts with their love, commitment, tireless work to save, rehabilitate and ensure a good life for Dogs and Cats of Asia that find themselves in hardship on the streets or end up in the dog meat trade. Soi Dog commits to ensuring a forever home for all animals rescued by them through adoptions to forever homes globally or in one of their centres. They also work with street animals that consists of spaying and neutering to prevent unwanted puppies and kittens being born into short lives.

With no government funding, Soi Dog Foundation operates solely on donations from compassionate animal lovers around the world. They pride themselves on the efficient use of funds so that the maximum number of animals can be helped.
