Rowan is biking from Cape Reinga to Bluff! Yes, he is mad! Let's raise $1.00 for every kilometer he is biking.
If he could raise some funds for his Lions Club along the way that would be really awesome.
Opunake Lions Club has been serving it's community for over 50 years.
Funds raised are distributed to all kinds of causes.
People and places like local students and our walk/cycle way.
Volunteer groups including Surf Life Saving, Fire Brigade, St Johns and the Rescue Helicopter.
National causes like Diabetes, Camp Quality, Child Cancer, Ronald McDonald House, NZ Suicide Prevention, Hearing Dogs, Spirit of Adventure etc.
We even contribute to an international pool that gets used in times of disasters like earthquakes, bushfires. and world pandemics.

Nearly Done 11 March 2021
Rowan should make it to Haast today. It is looking like he could finish on Sunday. Thank you to all who have donated. It was a last minute idea to raise funds as he travelled so we are really grateful for all we have received. All money donated to Lions gets used distributed out again. Helping where we can.
