  • Activ8 Northland Rows for Rueben

      29 June 2014

So they did it, the amazing 20-30s from ACTIV8 NORTHLAND bust the pants out of a world record and beat the 30+ youngies in a 100km erg race. Team 30+ can be gracious in defeat as we had Rueben as our cheering squad so it was a win-win situation from the beginning. Well done you amazing people, thank you to all those who turned up to support and to the gym members that baked some amazing treats ... and a big up to Rueben who rowed his first 1000m on the erg

The amazing personal trainers at Activ8 Northland here in Whangarei are going all out to support Rueben. They have organised two teams (age 20-30 and 30+) and are racing each other on indoor rowing machines to try to set world records for the 100km relay row. This takes place on 28th June 2014 from 11am onwards at Activ8 Northalnd at 16 Porowini Ave (the rowers will be 2/3 of the way through their 6-7 hour row by then). Come on down and cheer them on and sample some of the fun that will be laid on for you
