Crew, Rob Taylor, Shane Gibson, Jaime Hutter and Mike Toepfer
A few words from Rob,
"Hi, this isn't going to be easy, If we can make it without either falling in or wimping out at the first blister then I hope we can raise a good bit of cash for the community, and also show the kids that anything is possible away from screens...."
A few words from Shane.
"Rowing is a challenging sport that gives you great rewards and enjoyment from the hard work you put in. While it looks simple there is a lot to it regarding timing and co ordination. I love it."
A few words from Jaime,
"Rowing on the water helps me appreciate our beautiful lake and town, which I have sometimes taken for granted. The lockdown renewed my appreciation of the outdoors, and there's no better way for me to take it all in than rowing the full 45km, getting closer to home with each stroke before finally landing on the beach in Roy's Bay."
A few words from Mike,
“ It is always good to set yourself a challenge, and this won’t be easy- at my age I hope my body will last. It is great to know that by taking part in a personal adventure we are also helping the community “
