Roxy's Recovery 🐾

On 9th October, Roxy was involved in an unprovoked dog attack on her own property.

The attack resulted in deep lacerations stretching across her back from the left axilla (armpit) all the way to the right. She required multiple emergency surgeries and remained at Massey Vets for 6 days before she was stable enough to go home.

Her family has been hit hard with the veterinary costs, which, as of returning home, is sat at $7746.91. Roxy requires continued care and so this number is expected to grow.

Charity and Warrick Davis are generous and much loved members of the Taihape community. They are always there when others need help, be it family, friends, community projects, or local charities. It is now our turn to return the support they give selflessly.

Roxy is a beautiful dog who is loved dearly.
