Royal Oak Intermediate AIMS Games Fun Run and Swimathon
Fundraiser for Royal Oak Intermediate sporting teams to attend AIMS Games in Tauranga in September.

Royal Oak Intermediate has a proud history of sending students down to the AIMS Games in Tauranga. This year is one of the biggest teams ever with around 90 kids participating in five different sports. The opportunity to attend the AIMS Games is amazing experience and is likened to the Olympics for 12 year olds.
It is a significant cost to get the teams down to Tauranga for a whole week in September with accommodation, transport, uniforms, entry fees, food and more food!
Some of our ROI AIMS teams are going to run two laps of Cornwall Park on a Sunday in August, and our waterpolo team is doing a swimathon, as a fundraiser to help with these costs and make sure all our children can attend. The swimmers are aiming to swim for an hour and clock 3 km!
