Running 100 miles (168km) on Mt. Kosciuszko to raise funds for The Charlotte Museum
Auckland
The Charlotte Museum is a museum, gallery, research library and document archive to preserve, collect and exhibit the objects, items, ephemera and herstory of Takatāpuni-Wāhine o Aotearoa. It is the only museum of its kind in Aotearoa and is part of the Te Papa National Museum Standards programme.
The Museum relies on funding from grants and public donations to stay open. It is facing urgent and immediate need for funding to keep its doors open.
On 8 December 2023, I will be running 100 miles (168km) up to, and around, the tallest peak in Australia (Mt. Kosciuszko) (https://kosciuszko.utmb.world/). I am raising funds to help the Charlotte Museum continue to do its important work in preserving an important part of history in Aotearoa and any donation big or small is appreciated.
