Sam and Leo will run a half marathon over 9 hours to raise money for food for the Glen Innes food bank.

12 year olds, Leo and Sam are running a half marathon over 9 hours to raise money and food for the Glen Innes food bank. On the 28th of June we will take to the streets to run for our community.
The Glen Innes food bank has been in operation since 1991 and supports those in need in the local community.
As part of a school service project Leo and Sam have chosen to support their local community. They are hoping to be sponsored in either non perishable food donations for those that are local to us or if you want to support and are out of town then sponsoring a food pack as suggested below. Any funds raised will be used to purchase food to donate to the Glen Innes food bank.
A $5 donation will purchase
Soup pack - 3 canned soups
A $10 donation will purchase either a
Clean pack - which will include: toothpaste, toilet paper, toothbrush and soap
Can pack - soup, beans, tuna, spaghetti, peas
A $15 donation will purchase a
Carb pack - pasta, rice, oats, 2 min noodles, cereal, crackers
A $20 donation will purchase a
Combo pack - oats, pasta, pasta sauce, tuna, soup, canned veges, toilet paper

I am the mother of Leo Fendall, one of the two page organisers. Sam and Leo want to support their local community. As part of a school service project they have decided to raise money (and food donations) for the Glen Innes food bank. All money raised will be used to purchase food for the food bank.

We delivered two carloads of food to the Glen Innes Foodbank this morning, we thought we would share our message we received from Pete who runs the Foodbank.
