Go Hannah & Lexi!
Whangaparaoa, Auckland
Hannah (24-7 Youth Worker) & Lexi (Young Person) are running the Auckland Half Marathon together to raise money for youth wellbeing!
Hannah & Lexi have journeyed the last year together through a mentoring relationship. Lexi loves running as a way to support her own mental wellbeing and wanted to give back by getting alongside Hannah in something she fears (running), just as Hannah has done for her. Symbolising that growth and change is often outside of our comfort zone but is made better by having someone to cheer you on and journey with you!
In life sometimes teenagers can go through tough times and it is so important to have a trusted adult who cares and will support you on that journey. Hannah and Lexi want to do this as a shout out to all the Youth Workers across Aotearoa, you are awesome!
They will be raising money for Coast Youth Community Trust who work with youth in the community. They build relationships to support and empower young people on the Hibiscus Coast.
Hannah & Lexi, we believe in you and are so inspired by your willingness to initiate and take on this challenge!
