Here are a few web articles of Josh:
Josh was also on Goodsorts – TV1
Now Josh is focused on becoming a paralympian to represent NZ at 2024 paralympic games, Paris, France in the 100 and 200 mtr sprints. He has a great coach who believes in him and is training with him on a regular basis. (although he has picked up a slight cut on his right foot that has no toes as they were amputated dues to illness.).
Josh has that fire , passion and hunger to run for gold.
To help him with this goal we are looking for funding, as Josh is not covered under ACC, because it was an illness that caused him to have an amputation. He is therefore limited with how many and what types of prosthetic legs he can have.
The running blade is going to cost up to $10,000. We are looking at funding to help with this. And to cover any additional expenses that may he may incur occur during his journey.
We have raised $5630 so far of which $3630 was raised earlier on a previous Givealittle page that closed on the 17 January 2022 and are needing a further $4370 to get him the running blade to help him along his journey towards becoming a Paralympian.
Joshua is a very motivated and hard-working young man who will push himself to overcome the impossible just because he can.
I am Joshua's father
The money will pay for Joshs running blade and any expenses that he may incur e.g. pediatric assistance, physio, on going care, maintenance.
