    Kia ora e hoa mā,

A final post to say thank you for your support for Shift, and also to let you know I finished the race! Day 4 was cancelled due to a storm with crazy flooding (making us evacuate a lake side camp). We spent the night in a temple. But wrapped up day 5 today with my fastest time.

I do plan to smash out a 48KM when I’m back in Aorearoa, to complete the full 250KM. It’s important to me to do what I said I would do 😊

Time for some R & R! Thank you again. Your support helps us continue the very important mahi of improving young womens wellbeing ❤️

Mōrena e te whānau! Just popping up to say ngā mihi to you for your support for Shift and for the massive inspiration! I received an email update overnight from the race organisers saying:

“In Sri Lanka, there are two things: The wildlife and the people. Competitors will have seen more peacocks by day 2 than in the rest of their lives combined, and they can also expect an incredible array of stunning flora and fauna over the course of their 5 days. And if the wildlife on the trail isn’t enough to blow our participants away, the support they can expect from the villagers that the course passes through certainly will be”

What more could I ask for?! Humans and nature ❤️💚 If you want to follow along on the journey you can do so here: https://live.opentracking.co.uk/sri2022/

So much gratitude to you whānau for your tautoko of Shift - doing better for young women means the world to me.

    Aroha nui xxx
