Running Auckland Half Marathon for GlowKids

On Sunday 20th October myself and my work colleague Rachael, with support of our work place, School of Fish childcare, will be running the Auckland half marathon to raise money to help support GlowKids.

GlowKids is a not-for-profit charitable trust. GlowKids offers intensive specialist programmes for children who have physical/sensory difficulties. They also support families with practical and emotional support so they are then more equipped to be a positive and powerful force in their child’s life.

In June this year I had the chance to do my placement at GlowKids. GlowKids is an amazing place where the teachers are extremely dedicated to their work and helping children thrive and succeed in life. I could see that the children and families benefited greatly from the help and support they receive from Glowkids. I would love to help Glowkids by raising funds for them so they can purchase new resources that will support the children’s learning and development at Glowkids.
