Running for Beau

  • With your help, I smashed it!

    Despite the strong southerly wind, I managed to run the entire course, and even got a new 10km and 5km personal best! With Jarrod’s help (and all of your incredible support and encouragement behind me) I ran the course in 1:07:41 (which is an average pace of 6:07/KM and super speedy for me)! Together we have raised $2,850NZD for Heartfelt, in honour of Beau. This is equivalent to about 34 photographer sessions being provided to families that need it most - A priceless gift to remember their child forever.

    Thank you for each and every hugely generous donation, for helping me honour Beau, and for putting your hard-earned money behind this incredible cause.

  • Final goal exceeded - 27 sessions gifted!

    Absolutely overwhelmed with gratitude for the support over the past three months (with more than $300 coming through today alone from my ASB family)!

    We've now well exceeded the lofty $2,000 fundraising goal and will enable 27 Kiwi families to have a Heartfelt photography session.

    I'll be running with so much power and support behind me next Sunday!

  • Goal increased (again)!

    Thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors, we have exceeded $1,500 raised for Heartfelt! As there are still 8 weeks until the event, I've stretched the goal out to $2,000. Thanks so so much.

  • Original goal TRIPLED!

    I continue to be absolutely amazed by the support from this community. We've now exceeded $1,500 fundraised which is TRIPLE my original goal.

    The Heartfelt team have confirmed that the donation of last month's funds alone (as Givealittle pays out monthly) will give 11 families the gift of photographic memories during heartbreaking times.

    Lastly - my running tee arrived! Check out the customisation of Beau's name and birthdate on the sleeve. So lovely.

    I can't thank all of you enough for your incredible generosity and support for this worthy cause. You've all absolutely smashed the (new increased) fundraising goal of $1,000 - that's beyond any of my expectations. I'm training hard and can't wait to do you (and Beau) proud. Love, Mads.
