Running the Hanmer Springs half-marathon (again!) - this time funds to be donated to St Johns in the Hanmer Springs / Culverden area.
Canterbury
St John is at the frontline of medical response providing Ambulance Services throughout New Zealand aswell as first aid training, event medical services, medical alarms and youth programmes. In Hanmer Springs and Culverden, these services are provided by dedicated volunteers. As St Johns Hanmer Springs doesn't have a givealittle page, I will be collecting the funds and paying them to the local St Johns officials.
I have seen the awesome work St Johns do in the area and I know that like many charities, they always struggle for enough funds for their needs.
Funds raised will be used to purchase new mannequins, which are used to provide resuscitation and airway management training.
Donation Payout 22 May 2017
Hi all donors and thanks for donating! I am waiting on givealittle to process the funds, which may take until 20th June. Unfortunately that is the way they manage these pages, I will update you once donation paid.
