Running On The Spectrum-Autism 2018 Winner AMP Peoples Choice

$12 donated
Given by 1 generous donor in over a year

We aim to actively introduce and encourage running to young New Zealanders on the Autism Spectrum, for both physical and emotional health.

Taranaki

The donations will specifically go towards costs associated initiating the running program, and coaching but primarily for running shoes for the children. I am hoping to attend 100 schools around New Zealand this year, NZ wide to find children that this program will benefit, and especially giving running shoes to children on the spectrum.

I will be running 100km non stop in Naseby Water Race in August as part of my fundraising and visiting local schools in Central Otago, Christchurch, and Palmerston North in the coming months.

Jason Reid's involvement (page creator)

I am a Teacher and founded the charity so children on the Autism spectrum have the opportunity to run and be involved in sports. We donate new running shoes to local children on the Autism spectrum and help them into a movement program.

Use of funds

New running shoes for Autistic children locally and support into a running program.
