We are racing the coast to coast 3 person one day teams event to raise money and awareness in support of the Carr Family Foundations Rural health and wellness initiative.

The focus is to provide rural communities with regular health and wellness checks, to ensure long-term wellbeing. A custom-built van provides free, easy, timely and accessible health checks across New Zealand. These comprehensive wellness checks are conducted by a nurse and cover general well-being, mental health, and include assessments for blood sugar, cholesterol levels, blood pressure, and BMI.

Use of funds

Mental and physical health checks for the rural community.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
