hi i am a mother and a grandmother and wife who left her famly to move to gore to buy a home the one thing i have always wanted and needed leaving my family was one of the hardest things i have ever done but needed a home of my own as i have never had one as a child in the care of the state i was moved here shoved there every time i made friends they would move me on so it became very important to me to have a place that i could call home . last year we finally perchased our home as we had a long term plan to fix the house up we were not excpecting to have to replace the shower as soon as we moved in so we hired a young handy man who was trying to get his busniss up and running he was in need of help as they where struggling finacially so i offered them to build a we cabin and live on our back section for a small fee since we felt we were in a position to help he seemed to be a very knowlagable yong man he started doing work on our house he did some electrical work some plumbing work then things changed it turned out he was not the nice young man we thought he was he is now gone but we are left trying to put our house back together we have a plank of wood holding up the celing between the lounge and kitchen we took out the a loan for the most we could affored to pay back we finally have a new shower and we have walls in the bathroom again but the plumbing bills and the electrician bills keep pileing up as we try to fix all the things this man did as it was all allegal for him to do any of this work and it was not done right. i have a wee partime job as i have many health issues and my hubbys wage dose not cover all of the extra bills we also love to go up to nelson once a year to visit my daughter and grandsons but this cost around a thousand dollers plus christmas prezzys for the boys sadly none of this will happen this year without some seriouse help please help me to help make this christmas happen and help me to help my husband pay these bills .
