Ryan Needs Your Help

My beautiful son, Ryan, is nine years old. He has diagnoses of both Autism and Social Anxiety. Ryan suffers from major Toileting Anxiety and Stool Withholdal. Basically, he is afraid to poo on the toilet and still does it in a nappy. If we pressure him, he stops pooing for days or even weeks at a time. Because Ryan also has an autoimmune disorder, this causes serious health problems.

Ryan desperately needs specialist Child Psychology and Pediatic Occupational Therapy. These services are unfunded and cost between $190-$330 a session, plus initial assessments at around $650 an hour. The total cost for these, based on sessions needed is approximately $10,000.

We are a mid-income family with no family support and these costs are simply out of our reach.

With Intermediate School looming and things like school camp coming up next year, we are desperate to help Ryan and save him further humiliation of still wearing nappies. We are desperate.

Our aim is to raise half the cost of these services, so $5000. We will pay for the rest ourselves.
