We're fundraising to help Rylan, a bright and hard-working 15-year-old student at Kapiti College, have the opportunity of a lifetime — a school trip to USA in September this year!
This trip isn’t just about travel — it’s about learning, growing, and experiencing new cultures, people, and perspectives. We’re incredibly proud of Rylan for being chosen to represent his school, and as a whānau we are doing everything we can to help make it happen. The total cost of the trip is $9,800, which covers flights, accommodation, meals, insurance, cultural experiences and educational activities.
We’re reaching out to friends, whānau, and kind supporters to help raise $5000. Every little bit helps and is greatly appreciated and brings us one step closer to making this dream a reality for Rylan!

A message from Rylan. 17 April 2025
On September 18th I will be going to New York for 7 days and then Los Angeles for another 7 days, I’m very excited about this trip because I get to experience living in a whole new country which I’m expecting to be very different from here in New Zealand, I hope to try new things outside my comfort zone, meet new people, and especially try new food. I am very grateful for all the support I have been given toward this trip.
