Collecting is an easy and meaningful way to make a real difference for animals in New Zealand SAFE APPEAL: ANYTIME FROM 8AM-6PM FRIDAY AND 9AM-5PM SATURDAY, 17-18 DECEMBER SAFE needs hundreds of collectors to reach our goal of $350,000 to continue defending against animal cruelty. Over 1400 eager collectors in over 40 centres across New Zealand will don cool and colourful animal costumes of all shapes, colours and sizes to help stand out in the crowd and collect donations from the public. The menagerie of costume-clad SAFE volunteers will be positioned on busy streets and intersections, as well as stationed outside malls, supermarkets and places like The Warehouse. Be part of the team to help animals.CAN YOU SPARE A FEW HOURS? This is a wonderful cause and well done Sarah for getting behind this and taking action! I agree, how we treat our needy is a true test of our humanity. Christmas is a time where many discard their animals in hideous ways, forgetting they are family members and you certainly would not do so to a child or grandmother but they feel they can do so to animals. So this is a time where we should actively take responsibility for our little friends without a voice of their own. Well done Sarah I have donated and invite my friends to do the same!
