New Sailing Cutter for Awatuna Sea Scouts

$430 of $10,000 goal
Given by 6 generous donors in around 4 months

Help Awatuna Sea Scouts get more kids out learning to sail by contributing to completing their new Sea Scout Sailing Cutter.

Waiake, Auckland

Awatuna Sea Scouts are working toward completing a second sailing cutter for the group. We have purchased this half completed yacht but need some help to get it finished. This extra yacht will allow us to have another 4 to 5 kids out on the water learning to sail 2 to 3 nights each week. Having this additional yacht will also allow us to take more scouts and ventures to the camping and one day regattas we attend, giving more kids adventures and education outside the class room.

Use of funds

Funds raised will go toward completing the yacht and buying mast rigging and sails. Any funds received will go toward to yacht.
