Samia Sisters NZ Honours 2017 Volleyball & Basketball

    Its been a busy time and the girls have now each had one trip away representing the country - to China, Thailand and Australia. Back in NZ they have of course been busy with school sport and regional teams with Laina now playing for Otago (and Scorpions Volleyball Club).

    Last week though Rosalia received the call for the second time this year - this time her Basketball coach who has selected her now from the squad to travel to India in October to play in the Asian FIBA World Cup Qualifier tournament. Much appreciation to all who are supporting the girls to represent NZ and travel the world. We can't thank you enough.

    Thanks for your support friends and family..China was amazing..Rosalia loved the volleyball and the teammates..hated the smog and the food! Oh well its the volley that counts..no rice at our house for a few weeks... NZ went really well finishing a commendable 8th place and have secured entry for NZ in the next Asian champs in 3 years..Melika perhaps!
