Samuel's dream trip to Japan for his 10th birthday in 2027

Samuel will turn 10 in 2027 and has a big wish to go to Japan to celebrate there. He was homeschooled until September 2025, is learning Japanese, does Judo, has an interest in Japanese culture and buildings.
We both have Charcot Marie Tooth Disease, a degenerative nerve disorder under the Muscular Dystrophy umbrella. Life is very difficult a lot of the time with frequent trips and falls, and nerve pain. But we do what we need to to keep moving forward and following our dreams.
We don't expect something for nothing. We are making things to sell at markets, doing jobs for locals... this page is a secure place for people to pay, knowing it all goes to Samuel's dream trip. We will be sharing updates on funds raised as well as when we make the trip.

Thank you so very much to all who have contributed and supported Samuel's efforts. We have reacher almost $2000 from market sales and givealittle.
We are very thankful to all the support and suggestions for ideas to raise money to make this dream happen.
Samuel has been studying Japanese intensely and knows well over 100 words, can write most of the hiragana alphabet and read hiragana text. He's doing really well and I'm confident he will be able to speak pretty well by the time we go, making the trip all that more enjoyable.
