I'm writing to thank you so so much for your support and help since my diagnosis.

I cannot begin to put into words how very grateful I am. Your generosity has meant the world to me and Lola.

It's meant I've been able to pay my rent and utility bills, when I'm too sick to work.

We've been able to stay in our flat, enabling me to create a safe haven of security and consistency for Lola at a time when everything else in our lives has changed.

Your generosity has allowed me to catch an uber to chemo and hospital appointments, which has been wonderful.

It meant Lola could go to school camp and continue to take part in activities she loved before my diagnosis. This has been invaluable in helping her deal with my illness and give her some sense of normality.

It's been 8 months now since my diagnosis and I've had the full works; chemo, surgery, reconstruction and radiation. Cancer has been life changing, and at the risk of sounding cliche, I've learnt a lot about myself, about the importance of living in the moment and to embrace uncertainty.

I've also learnt that I have wonderful, caring friends like you, who have helped me at the worst time of my life. I am so very grateful.
