    Thank you to everyone who has very generously provided support for this great cause.

    The swim itself was a challenge for me having had COVID at the start of June, a busy time at school, the College Ball the night before (if pasta from the buffet is not carb loading for the swim I’m not sure what is) and not actually doing any training from when I had COVID. The conditions on the day were ideal, but I am very pleased that it is done!

    The Cathedral is a special place for St. Mary’s College and it good to be able to give back through this event. As a College we are looking forward to being back in the Cathedral for a full school mass next term. COVID has been challenging for so many in such a variety of ways and I very much appreciate the support.

    The Cathedral team have also asked that I convey their gratitude to you for your support - know that it is truly appreciated.

  • Thanks for supporting me ... one sleep to go

    Firstly my sincere thanks to each one of you who has donated to support me and more importantly our team at St Patrick's Cathedral.

    This photo was taken at my desk this morning ... just a small matter of a school ball this evening and then a very early start tomorrow!

    Please say a prayer that we all make it to the end and that the weather is good!

    Have you felt the cold weather this week? Temps in Auckland have plummeted!

    I really need some help to reach my target to make jumping into the chilly water worth the effort so please do share this page and encourage friends and family to support the team at St Patrick's Cathedral. Thanks to all those who have already supported this swim!
