Sarah's American Dream

I have been offered a Presidential Academic Grant and a NCAA Student-Athlete Grant by Lindenwood University which is located in St. Charles, Missouri, USA. This scholarship covers my tuition, room (accommodation) and a couple of university fees. However, it does not cover the cost of board (meals, etc.), flights and other University fees. I would love any support I can get, whether that be donating or sharing this page to raise awareness of my cause. All donations, large or small, will be greatly appreciated and I will make sure I keep my donors updated on my American journey.

I have been playing rugby for 3 years now. Having started playing for Feilding High School's girls rugby team, I was involved in the team who gained the National Title for 15s in 2013, the Hurricanes 15s Title for the past three years, two Hurricanes 7s titles, and many other tournaments. Last year I was chosen to be a part of the Manawatu Women's Cyclones NPC team.

I will be attending Lindenwood University in August and I plan on studying Science of Exercise in pursuit of a physiotherapist career. My motivation to make this dream a reality is not only for my education and sporting career, but also the overseas and life experience that many people get the opportunity to have. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I would love you to help me and be a part of it
