Support Sarah Lincoln in taking on the Tarawera Marathon and, in doing so, raising funds for the Eastland Helicopter Rescue Trust.

Gisborne

12 months ago I was an overweight, somewhat unhealthy, busy mum of four. As well as the four kids, my husband and I have two building businesses.

I decided it was time to get myself back so to speak. I went to a paleo way of eating, which turns out suits me very well, and in eight months lost 34kg.

Somewhere in there I decided I'd give the Tarawera Marathon a go.

For the most part people think I'm completely bonkers. Training has not been easy, but I'm as ready as I'll ever be.

I've also decided to use this as a fundraising mission for our local Eastland Helicopter Rescue Trust. Even more incentive for me to cross that finish line!!

Eastland Helicopter Rescue Trust's involvement (page creator)

My husband Rodney and I have been long-time supporters of the Eastland Helicopter Rescue Trust, undertaking an annual fundraising effort with our business Premier Homes.

This is just one more way that we can show our commitment to a very important cause.

About us
