Fundraising page for Bayswater Community Committee's - 'Save Bayswater Marina Community Fighting Fund'.
Bayswater, Auckland
Help stop Bayswater Marina, a scarce and finite marine and marina-related resource and public open space, from becoming a residential suburb through rezoning by stealth.
Of the 730 public submissions to Auckland Council, 682 (93%) oppose Bayswater Marina Holdings Ltd’s resource consent application for residential development at Bayswater Marina.
Bayswater Community Committee has been actively working on your behalf and have hired leading Planning, Traffic, Landscaping & Urban Design and Legal experts to represent our community’s views and objections with evidence at the Auckland Council hearing - starting 19 September 2022.
We’ve raised over $23,000 but still need $52,000 for the 'Save Bayswater Marina Fighting Fund' to pay our experts.
As a community and as public stakeholders in Bayswater Marina it is critical we use leading experts to represent our ‘oppose’ submissions to protect what is valued in the area for current and future generations.
Act now - please donate to the Bayswater Community Committee Inc’s 'Save Bayswater Marina Community Fighting Fund'. Any amount, large or small would be greatly appreciated.
