Help save Borland Lodge

Borland Lodge has provided unique experiences for people for about 50 years. A massive part of what we do is provide the base for a huge number of students to experience the outdoors, challenge themselves and up-skill. Our location and facilities are ideal for schools, recreational groups and private users to make the most of the local remote area. Most people in Southland (and many from further afield) have a "Borland Story" or memory.

Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, we have had to indefinitely close which has led to a significant loss of income and likely a long period of reduced income. As we are not-for-profit, this means that the long term prospects for the Lodge are in danger. Without extra funds to carry us through to a time where guests can return, we face the very real prospect of having to close permanently.
