    We have kept the page open for those who may wish to donate towards recovery and physiotherapy and ongoing medications for Chiko post surgery. The trauma suffered by Chiko and Russell that day was horrific. However the bond they have is beautiful with Chiko now having to be caged for 6 weeks as he recovers from his latest surgery, Russell has him on his bed right next to his pillow so they both heal together🐶💛

    Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the incredible generosity and kindness shown by you all, which has enabled Chiko to undergo his second surgery and have screws inserted to hold it together. He now has a 6 week recovery, in plaster and crated. Any additional funds will continue to support Chikos recovery needs

  • 🐶 Almost There — Help Us Get Chiko to Surgery🙏

    We’re so close to the $1800 needed for Chiko’s leg surgery next Thursday, and every bit of support right now means the world. Chiko has been incredibly brave on his daily pain relief and antibiotics, and Russell is doing everything he can while recovering from painful, slow‑healing injuries.

    Russell’s right hand needs physio, and the large bite on his inner bicep is still badly infected. The skin graft didn’t survive, so the hospital removed 24 stitches yesterday and cleaned the wound. It’s painful and exhausting for him, and district nurses visit regularly to help manage it.

    This community has already shown so much kindness. If you’re able to help with a donation or even a quick share, it truly makes a difference. We’re nearly there, and your support is giving Russell and Chiko strength when they need it most.
