Save Dave and bring him home

I have set up this page as my hubby needed to fly back to South Africa from NZ to lay his father to rest and help get his affairs in order..

David was due to fly home on the 29th November but all flights were cancelled out of SA a day before departure.

We bought a second ticket from another carrier as soon as the first cancelled but that too got cancelled. Two tickets down, extra accommodation and no refunds yet have put us in a really tight position.

We have found a flight for him. He needs to fly to the UK and then quarantine for 11 days, then needs to say in another hotel for 3 more days to qualify for the next 2 flights to bring him home where he will need to quarantine again. Crazy to think almost a month in transit...and $18000

This of course is costing us a fortune and while we hate asking for help we find ourselves needing it desperately. David is a contractor and has not been working so there has not been any income for over a month and will need to find something new once he lands.

We are Permanent residents have been here for 12 years and our citizenship application has been in for 7 months.

Please any help will do.
