Covid-19 is spreading rapidly in Sri Lanka. Let us come together to save the lives of Sri Lankans.
Nationwide
It is reported that the Covid-19 pandemic is spreading rapidly in Sri Lanka at the moment.
About 178,000 patients and over 1,350 deaths have been reported due to this pandemic as of today, 29th May 2021.
At the moment nearly 30,000 active patients have been hospitalized and are receiving treatment. Many of these patients require special care, such as high flow oxygen, ICU beds etc.
It is also reported that the hospital system in Sri Lanka has almost reached maximum capacity. The most dangerous situation is that it is not easy for a country like Sri Lanka to handle such a situation.
We believe that one of the most useful and life-saving things we can do at this time is to provide mainly medical equipment to the hospitals in Sri Lanka.
Accordingly, we have decided to collect donations and use all the proceeds to provide medical equipment and financial assistance to the health system in Sri Lanka.
Even the smallest donation you make will make a difference.
Let us come together to save the lives of Sri Lankans.
