Everybody loves Boss but he needs surgery to save his life.

Aran Rescue saved Boss when his time was up at the pound last week.

He is the sweetest natured, most loving, deserving boy and we are so glad to have been able to give him this chance for a new life. However, at his vet check we discovered that his teeth are in a terrible state, one of the worst cases our vet has seen and he needs many extractions and remedial work.

Without this he would have no chance of a decent, pain free life and would be better put to sleep. We have been quoted $1,100 for his surgery.

If there was ever a dog that deserves a chance it's Boss, he's a big soft marshmallow who's so happy to be out of the pound at last. He will make the most fabulous best friend for someone and all that stands in the way of many happy years for him and whoever is lucky enough to adopt him is this dental work.

Please help us to give him the surgery he needs and the happy ending he so deserves.

ARAN Animal Rescue is a Registered Charitable Trust, saving dogs of good temperament from council pounds and giving them a second chance through fostering and re-homing them. We know little about these dogs' health until we can get them to a vet for a check up and sometimes they need expensive treatment. From the day we take them from the pound we take responsibility for their health and well being so vet bills are a constant drain on our resources. We are entirely funded by public donation so it is only by our community of supporters rallying round and chipping in that dogs like Boss get a chance at a new life.

About us

We rescue rehomeable dogs, primarily from council pounds, who would otherwise face euthanasia. We are volunteers and all donations go directly towards helping these dogs.

Well, he's obviously not all smiles in this pic, but then just post dental surgery not many of us are!

Thanks to you, Boss was able to have all the surgery he needed and is recovering really well. He's much more comfortable now and is pretty happy about that. He also has a wonderful new home lined up so his life has gone from bottom of the pile to top of the world in one short week. Thanks to all of you! Happy days Boss :)
