Save Amanda`s best friend Shi

My name is Dave. I set this page up to help my good friend Amanda who is in need for some help. This is what she has to say:

My name is Amanda, im a 48 year old invalid from Dunedin.I have cats and a beautiful dog Shi who is 5 years old, she is my best friend. I recently went through chemotherapy for my liver which was succesfull. Shi was there for me to cuddle when I felt so sick, she gives me love unconditionally. I suffer mild agoraphobia so hardly ever leave my house, I rescue cats as well.

Recently out of the blue Shi got sick, she has a condition called Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia and has been on steroids for 4 months now.

It seemed she was doing well and we reduced the amount she was on, then 2 weeks ago she got worse, now she needs an expencive drug to try and save her.

This is her only chance at life and I just dont have the money to do it, I know its a lot to ask for people to open their hearts and donate but I have run out of options.

She is my best friend and it breaks my heart to not be able to help her, I cant imagine not having her in my life. So if you do have some spare change to help her I will be forever grateful.

Funds will be used for drugs and vet visits. She is having weekly vet visits which alone are around $100. The new meds she needs are a crazy price but they are her only hope
