St Augustines Scout Group, Napier needs help to repair senseless vandalism to our den

Napier, Hawke's Bay

On Tuesday 29/8 youths vandalized our Scout Den, they did over $4000 damage, we have insurance to cover most of the costs but we have to find a minimum of $1000 to cover insurance excess and anything we have left over will be put to repainting the rest of the wall that was damaged. We are a small group of keas, cubs and scouts that do not have a large amount of money to spare. It is very doubtful that the offenders will ever be made to be accountable for their acts let alone financially pay for what they damaged.

About us

We are a small scout group in Napier, with great kids, we have been around for over 100 years and our home has been our den in Latham St since 1974

Insurance excess and paint to finish the rest of the wall that was not damaged.
