Seaweek is a collaboration between Sir Peter Blake MERC and NZAEE (New Zealand Association for Environmental Educators. By celebrating the ocean we connect people to the ocean and nature. By connecting with the ocean through education and recreation we nurture a sense of kaitiakitanga to inspire action for the preservation of ocean for a healthy sea is a healthy we.

About us
Our aim is to introduce marine based outdoor programs to schools, special needs, and youth at risk or other community groups that would otherwise be unable to experience environmental and marine education.
Use of funds
These funds will be used to support on going initiatives to celebrate the ocean through the year.
