Second Chance Dog Rescue CHCH - No Bills for Easter!

Second Chance Dog Rescue is a voluntarily run, non profit way to give the dogs in the Canterbury region (and afar) a second chance. Most of these dogs are pound condemned, surrendered and in need of a "second chance". We have no housing facilities and rely on our foster carers who take in these dogs while in rehabilitation.

This comes at a cost.

We get no permanent funding and are always reliant on donations to cover emergency and ongoing medical treatment, de-sexing, microchipping, vaccinations, raising orphaned pups and more...

With Easter up and coming and our funds at an all time LOW (adoption costs rarely meet the dog's wellness costs prior to adoption) ...
