Anorexia has rocked our family

One of our teen children has been affected by an eating disorder over the past two years, requiring both of us as parents to take time off work, and more recently, for me to reduce my hours to 5 hours weekly. This has included two hospital stays, the first lasting two months over October to December 2025. Helping someone who doesn't want to eat, to get better and put on weight is the hardest thing that we have ever done. I am emotionally exhausted, but still determined. I try not to think about how long this will last, but try to focus day per day. Something that I would love to do is to upgrade our lower garden area with paving and clear away rubble and trees to form a seating area and a play area for our son. At the moment it's full of weeds and attracts alot of mozzies. I have received a quote for $2,700 +GST from a local contactor to put down weed mat, pavers and create a step down from the main area. We can't afford to do this ourselves, as we are currently putting considerable money each week into private therapy for our child, to continue their recovery. it would absolutely mean the world if we could be supported financially to make this happen.
