Self-sufficiency at 16

My 16 year old daughter would like to be self-sufficient and live off grid one day and would like to start her dreams in the near future.

Growing up on a lifestyle block and being partly self sufficient she would like to be self sustaining on her own piece of land. Concerned with additives, colourants and everything in the food we eat she would like to live off the land and create a sustainable life for herself.

She is very driven and has been working since she was twelve as she wants to get ahead in life.

As i'm unable to help her financially we're hoping there might be some kind hearted people out there who can help her make her dreams come true.

She hopes to buy some land, plant a vegetable garden, fruit trees, have some chickens and a cow or 2 for milk as well as installing solar panels and hopefully have a natural water source on the land.

She has noticed that humans and development are taking over our natural lands. Her plan will help protect and nurture what she can no matter how small it may be.

She says that when people say one person can't make a difference, she believes she can make a difference. As there could be thousands of that one person out there and she wants to be a part of that.

When she is self-sustaining her goals are to be successful and help other people become self-sufficient and live off the grid as naturally as possible, healing the soil and environment around her.

If the full funds aren't raised she will save it up for the purchase of the land.
