Send Georgia to Japan

  • End of the road...........

    Well we have reached the end of the road. I’ve exhausted all efforts and have been unable to secure a spot in the NZ team for the Whistler Cup 2024. Protocols and selection criteria are great but when they get in the way of participation they really need reviewing eh Snowsports NZ.

    So, the plan now is to put the money you have all kindly donated into a Northern Hemisphere training block over the Summer School Holidays in January 2025. This will be either to Switzerland with QAST (Queenstown Alpine Ski Team) or Canada with NST (Northern Ski Team).

    I know this is quite some time away and if you are uncomfortable with this plan please email me with your bank deets on mike@twopointzerodesign.co.nz by Friday, March 15th and I’ll refund your donation happily.

    We thank you all again for your generosity and will keep you up to date with developments as they happen…..

    With less than a week before we flew to Japan, the event has been cancelled due to a lack of snow at the Resort 🙁 While franticly unravelling the Japan trip I'm now up to my ass in alligators trying to secure a spot at the Whistler Cup in Canada instead. Stand by for more.............

  • 2024 and here we go !!!

    Happy 2024 everyone and thank you for your donations. Just another little ask, could you please share this on your socials and to your mates so that we get a larger reach as possible.

    Been busy over the break with flights and accomodation booked, lane space and course sets arranged and Summer fitness in full effect.

    On snow training starts again at the end of January at Snowplanet and our currently plan is to be in Japan a week before the event, training GS with the Naeba Race School.

    Again, thank you for your support, it means heaps to both Georgia and me that you have faith in her ability. Georgia for the win !!!
