Please support my brother, a widowed father of 2 with his medical and personal challanges.

Whanganui, Manawatu-Wanganui

My brother was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in his early thirties. His Diabetes was well controlled as he had medical insurance. He was always hard working, spending sixteen years building a cabinetry business. Both he and his wife worked in the business, with his wife taking care of the administration, and him running the factory. Sadly, she tragically and unexpectedly died from a brain aneurysm in May 2022, on her 45th birthday. His life and the lives of his two children changed drastically overnight. He tried his best to keep the factory that never fully recovered after the Covid-19 lockdown going, while adjusting to being a single parent. However, with him getting recurring infections due to Diabetic foot ulsers, not being able to stand and walk, which is absolutely necessary in his line of work took it's toll on the business, as he was responsible for a large part of the production process. With no stable income, his medical insurance was cancelled. His financial woes got even worse. He had a right foot amputation and most recently surgical debridement of infected tissue on his left foot. He also contracted two resistant bacteria in the public hospital. Not being able to work and not earning an income, no financial obligations can be met, from proper health care to basic things like electricity and food. He is also at risk of losing his house. As siblings we try to assist as we can, but we need your support, please. Your help will be remembered and hugely appreciated!
