Many people have aspirations of becoming a professional sportsperson, it is a hard long road and one that requires commitment, dedication and talent. Shamus has all these attributes and after competing very successfully as a schoolboy triathlete, has now committed himself to fulfilling his dream of becoming a Professional cyclist. Unfortunately as is the case for many young athletes trying to reach the top - it is an expensive process. Shamus comes from a hard working family, he is working and training hard towards his goals and any donations raised will go directly towards his coaching, equipment and expenses related to becoming a professional cyclist. Tour Of Southland 13 November 2016
Just want to say a huge thank you to all those people who made the Tour Of Southland possible for me.
It was my first time riding this iconic New Zealand race and it was everything I could have imagined. I am both humbled by this event and excited to come back next year! To those riders who mentored me thank you, I couldn't have asked for better team mates and support.
Exams next week and then its full time into cycling - I can't wait.
