While basic food continues to be a huge concern for the backbone of India, more recently the situation has become critical.

This fundraising is designed to raise money for Share and Serve to distribute essential supplies and grocery kits across the city of Jaipur.

Share and Serve is an NGO in India raising funds for families in need. I will be raising funds for the month of June and making a lump sum donation for meal kits via https://www.shareandserve.org/ prior to visiting India in July

1 kit @ ₹1000 ($20NZD) helps feed a family of 4 for a week!

Our target is to distribute 100 kits ($2000NZD)

$20 donation= feed 1 family $100 donation = feed 5 families

Each kit contains:

10 kg aata, 1 kg rice, 1.5 kg chana dal, 1 kg masoor dal, 1 lt oil, 2 kg sugar, 1 kg salt, 100 gm haldi, 100 gm dhaniya, 200 gm mirch, 250 gm tea, 10 packets glucose biscuits, 2 Soaps, reusable bag

Every bit helps.

We did it!!!  28 July 2024

Hello everyone!! we have officially been back from India for a week now and I would love to share with you a video of our fundraiser! I can not express how grateful I am to every single person who donated - it made such a big difference in these families' lives and to see it first-hand was something I will never forget. All the smiles we were able to create were all thanks to you guys. This fundraiser meant so much to me but even more to those we were able to help in Jaipur India, so thank you again and please watch this short video I have created if you have a spare minute!

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
