Fundraising to support a whanau who lost everything in their home after a devastating fire
Flaxmere, Hastings
Amber and her babies are thankful to be safe and well after escaping a fire in their home during the night just a few weeks ago.
Amber was woken in the early hours of the morning by her pet dog barking, as she woke to see what was happening, she realized her home was up in flames. In order to get herself and her babies to safety she smashed a window and carried them to safety.
This fire absolutely devasted the whanau home, leaving nothing untouched even the whanau car that was parked next to the house went up in flames.
As a young whanau who are now trying to get back on their feet after such a horrific experience, we are trying to raise funds to support them with this and make things a little easier. They did not have any insurance.
This will not only help them to get more clothes, toys, furniture but hopefully a new car so they are able to get around.
I know this whanau is truly humbled by the support they have already received and will be grateful for anything that can be contributed.
