Shave for Lochie!!
Shave for Lochie - I’ll be shaving my hair off to raise $$ for Lochie and family.
Upper Hutt, Wellington
4 year old Lochie was diagnosed with a rare form of leukaemia in October last year and was rushed to Christchurch hospital in a pretty bad way. Lochie has since been moved to Starship in Auckland for ongoing treatment, where he will also need to receive a bone marrow transplant. These past couple of months have been so stressful and unsettling for the whole family; being away from home, friends and family is tough!
Not only has Lochie had Christmas in hospital, his big fifth birthday will fall in February and he is most likely to be in the transplant unit!
I have decided to “shave for Lochie” and am going to shave my hair off to raise some $$ for the Burns family. They have been great supporters of me and my business over the years, and Lochie has often brightened my days with his cheeky chat and his sharing of lollies 💕
All funds will be used for costs associated with being away from home during this time, maybe even towards a birthday celebration when they get back to Wellington!
