Shave my Head to raise funds for Holy Trinity Church
Raising funds by shaving my head to build and complete a worship space for all of the Tauranga community, page is being run by church member

My name is Barbara and I’m 80 years old, I believe that by asking for sponsors to donate to my cause to help our church Holy Trinity finish repairing the church hall,into a venue that all can use. The main hope is the hall will be used for weddings, funerals, Sunday school and smaller church group meetings. An area that anyone in Tauranga are able to use, come along to Holy Trinity and see the progress we are making for the City of Tauranga.

Barbara has been a member of the Holly Trinity church for over 11 years, this is her being able to raise funds to help the church to continue to grow. I am managing the page for her and will transfer the funds to Holy Trinity Church.
Use of funds
Completing the hall, funds are currently very short. We are asking a home that can donate towards be shaving my head do, you will be building a new area in our City where we can all come together and worship.

Head shave done and dusted. 6 December 2021
Yesterday morning 5th December 2021 I had the honour of shaving Barbara’s hair off, was a little stressful when it got down to the razor 🪒 cutting to finish off the smooth look. Luckily at that stage I had help from her husband Geoff who really enjoyed using a razor on someone other than himself, and now he has more hair than his wife for the first time ever. Just remember Geoff, Barbara’s hair will grow back!
