As you may already know, Gretchen Shelling was diagnosed with Breast Cancer earlier this year. She will be undertaking Chemotherapy and Radiation therapy, which will result in hair loss. So she thought ‘let's make the most of this...'

This event is all about fundraising for the Angel Fund which supports young people in the Kaipara area. The money raised for this event will be specially tagged for young people and their immediate families living with cancer

Therefore, at Kaipara College we are going to have a Shave or Sponsor Event on 12th August at lunchtime!!

There are teachers and students who have committed to shaving their locks on the day. We also have local hairdressers offering to do the shave for us!

So please, come along at 1:30pm on Friday 12th August to come support our shavees. As well as being able to buy the honour of cutting off some well loved locks, we will have food available. It's going to be a massive event and we'd love as much support as we can!
