Shaving my hair in support of a beaut friend x
Wellington
I’m shaving my hair off to support my beautiful friend on her journey to fight cancer. To normalise the new look for her babies. Not all māmā need locks.
To me it’s just hair- for her it’s a reality, a constant reminder, a decision she didn’t get to make.
I have a choice to shave my hair; my beaut friend didn’t. While everyone else is deciding to curl or straighten, tie up or leave out. I’ll rock a number three from Monday 8th Feb next to my mate; making her feel more confident and comfortable with her new look.
It’s not forever it’s just for now!
