I am Peta, sister of Paulette, and inviting people to sponsor me to shave my head in support of her cancer battle.

My kid sister (profile photo taken 1979) is now 44 years old, happily married with a tribe of small children. Weeks ago she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, and is recovering from a double mastectomy and now embarking on post surgical therapy including gruelling chemotherapy. I figure if she is about to lose her hair so too can I. Every cent I can raise will go to help support her family, they are on once income, rent and have little mouths to feed and bills to pay.

Please give as little or as much as you can, my goal is to raise $3,000. But anything would be greatly appreciated.

I am involved because Paulette is my kid sister. I think of her as a kid sister, although we are both quite grown up and dealing with a crappy situation. My husband has battled throat cancer and so too my brother in law... so this latest blow has been a bit of a pig really.

Paulette is the one who is enduring the most, but of course cancer doesnt just happen to individuals it happens to families.. and I want to help her and Craig out a little financially if I can.
